Many people don’t believe it but you can become who you want to be.

But you need to want to become that person.

And don’t listen to me.

One of the classic stories in the field of self-fulfilling prophecies is of a computer in the UK that was accidently programmed incorrectly.

This computer was supposed to be used by a school to put children in the “right” classrooms, i.e., in the classroom of smart people and in the classroom of the dumb people.

​

Yeah… English people are that classist… but that’s for another day.

​

So, the famous computer got it “wrong” and labelled a class of “bright” kids “dumb” kids and a class of supposedly “dumb” kids “bright.”

When the direction of the school finally discovered the mistake five and a half months after the classes started, they decided to test the kids again without telling anyone what had happened.

​

And the results were amazing.

The “bright” kids had gone down significantly in IQ test points.

The “dumb” kids have improved in absolutely everything you can imagine.

It was a question of teachers telling them, directly or indirectly, by acts or omissions, you’re bright and you’ll do great or your destiny is Netflix, fries on the sofa every night.

Don’t trust me if you don’t want, just go to the internet and check by yourself.

This is why it is so important the people that surround you.

This is why it is so important what you tell yourself every day when you wake up.

This is why it is so important what you think of yourself and what you tell to yourself in your head.

This is why it is so important what you read, study and do… and with which purpose.
